The RSPCA Mid Norfolk & North Suffolk is an independent, local branch of the RSPCA. Their mission is to raise awareness, provide practical support and demonstrate compassion in order to deliver excellent animal welfare in their branch area.

They find homes for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries and exotics such as reptiles and birds. They also provide financial assistance for pet owners through reduced cost neutering vouchers and veterinary bill contributions. An integral part of their work is also their education and awareness programme, a series of talks and workshops that are given to audiences all over the county to promote good animal welfare.

By playing the lottery you are helping RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk support animals who need it most.

They are only a small team but work across 2500 square miles and each year, helping hundreds of animals and pet owners.

Sadly, due to the cost-of-living crisis, demand for their services has increased dramatically as many pet owners are having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome their animals due to the costs of food, equipment, and veterinary bills. Shortages of medication and vets, rising utility bills and increases in veterinary bills are also adding the pressure to the charity’s own resources.

In 2023, the Branch found homes for 421 animals, issued 1259 neutering vouchers and contributed to 367 vet bills.

By playing make a smile lottery, you can help ensure that even more pet owners and animals receive the help they need.

The branch receives no government funding and therefore relies on the generosity of the supporters and members of the public to help continue the vital work of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals.
