If you read last weeks’ blog, you will probably remember that we took the time to properly introduce to some of our incredible local charity partner’s. This week make a smile lottery is continuing where we left off, so without further ado, here is an introduction to our charity partner’s – part 2.

Tenovus Cancer Care

Tenovus Cancer Care brings practical advice, emotional support, and treatment to where it matters most, the heart of the community. They help people with cancer and their loved one’s cope, and through their vital research, they offer hope.

The Rob George Foundation

Rob George was a talented sportsman. But Rob’s sporting achievements – and his life – was cruelly cut short by acute myeloid leukemia. The Rob George Foundation has been set up to provide practical and/or financial support to young people with life threatening or terminal illnesses. They also provide financial support to young people who demonstrate exceptional commitment and ability in the worlds of sport of the performing arts but may be held back by their financial situation from pursuing their goals.

Wessex Heartbeat

Wessex Heartbeat exist to ensure that people being treated at the Wessex Cardiac Centre are provided with the best possible care and support. Cardiac treatment is often a very long and complicated journey, affecting many people in separate ways; their work over the years has allowed us to ensure that everybody, from patients to friends and relatives; will be supported every step of the way.
